The Challenge
Baltimore’s historic Woman’s Industrial Exchange needed to generate income from its historic building, and the building itself, built in 1815, needed major repairs.
The Solution
The Board of the Exchange hired Jubilee to rebuild the building and create income-producing apartments upstairs. Jubilee handled all aspects of the $2 million project – design, construction, finance – and brought it to a successful conclusion.
Results
The historic renovation of The Woman’s Industrial Exchange allowed for the creation of income producing apartments as well as a restaurant and store on the first floor. Apartment rents have supported the Exchange ever since.
